School Contact Programme to Promote Girls Education
He Named Me Malala, directed by Academy Award winner Davis Guggenheim, is an intimate portrait of Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Malala Yousafzai, and her family. The Malala Fund worked with partners around the globe to maximize interest and debate generated by the film to help push for change around girls’ education. In India, The Malala Fund got Victor Tango on board as their event and format creator for the campaign to help them reach out to their target group which was kids. Stand with Malala is a social action campaign that accompanied the release of the film He Named Me Malala in India. This was followed up with several social initiatives, discussions, donations and awareness drives to inspire youth and advance the movement to ensure that girls receive free, good quality and safe secondary education. The goal was to galvanize as many young people as possible to raise their voice and stand #withMalala for all girls’ rights.
